Easter in Boise

We just got back to good old Sacramento from spending the weekend in Boise. We left on Wednesday and spent all weekend in Boise. We went to the birds of prey on Friday. It was really cool, the kids had a great time seeing all the birds. They even bring some in to see close up. On Saturday Robyn and Kerry picked up April and I to go snowmobiling. We got to McCall and ate at the famous pancake house, the pancakes and cinnamon rolls are as big as PLATES, I could only eat ONE pancake. Then off to the mountain. We had a great time, Kerry dug me out more times than I actually rode April did really well, until Kerry sent her down the mountain by herself and got stuck in a tree well. She said that Kerry rode past her a few times before she could flag him down for help. We will be back next year. April and I were quite sore the next morning and had a hard time getting to church.

Lady Bug Hunters

Yesterday we were out at the Boersma property. Spring is in bloom and the ladybugs are moving around. I came out from the back and Chase, Corbin and Addie were digging thru the high grass and catching the ladybugs. Chase had the biggest group of them. He had them in his hands and pockets. He calls them his friends and wants to take them home. When we got ready for church this morning we found ladybugs on the inside of the suburban. I guess some of Chase's friends found their way in.

Chase and the pea

One night last week we had peas for dinner. All the sudden Chase started screaming and freaking out. It turned out that Corbin told him to put a pea in his nose. Chase was screaming so much that he could not get enough breath to blow it out. April finally calmed him down enough to blow the pea out. It shot across the table. Chase is still mad a Corbin but, being the good little brother still does what Corbin says. One day he will learn.

Our New Blog

Well I guess it is about time we catch up with the rest of the world and start a blog. Until Megan started her blog I did not even know what they were. Well it has been a pretty wild year so far. We had a big shake up in January, just as we were getting ready to leave for Megans wedding Casey was laid off from his job. It was completely unexpected. He is currently working hard at finding a new job, he has a few things cooking. April and the kids have enjoyed having Dad home this last month. It gives me a new perspective at what April does all day. I guess it is not just bon-bons and naps.
So here we go on the blogging. Please feel free to join in. We will try and be faithful in updating with our new news.
